The Home Stretch
So much for my lazy August and spending time on the blog. Actually, I suppose it was so lazy that I didn't take the time to do anything, including posting pictures from our various summer excursions. Another time.
This is the home stretch until baby #2 arrives. I'm currently 32 weeks into what has been a very uneventful pregnancy (thankfully). 8 weeks seems like a long time, but I'm sure it will be here before we know it. For those who haven't heard, we are having a boy. I'll wait to reveal his name in this public forum for the birth day. Funny how you don't merge those words until after the birth. I'm feeling big and awkward. Today's ultrasound confirmed those feelings. This baby weighs 5 pounds, 5 ounces and his head measures 2 weeks larger than the rest of his body, similar to Graeme. I guess we produce large-noggined babies. We are weighing the pros and cons of a repeat c-section. The head size has me leaning toward the surgery option, I must admit. Though, part of me would like to experience an unmedicated, minimally invasive, water birth.
